FAQ
Questions Foreigners Actually Ask Us
Language, money, landlords, and the 3 AM toilet question — answered honestly.
Do you speak English?
Texting works best — send photos, we reply in English (with translation support). Simple English by phone is fine. On site, the camera screen and a translation app cover the rest.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the cause — which is exactly why we diagnose first. You get a fixed price after on-site diagnosis, before any work starts, and it does not change afterward.
Do you really come at night?
Yes. 24/7, year-round. The price is set by what we find on site, not by the clock — you hear the fixed number and agree before we start.
I'm a renter — who pays, me or the landlord?
In Korea it usually depends on whether the cause is in your unit or the building's shared line. We determine which, then give you photos and a short written note so your landlord or building office can take it from there.
I dropped something in the toilet. Recoverable?
Usually yes — without damaging the toilet. Stop flushing (every flush pushes it deeper), then call. We've retrieved earbuds, glasses, a perfume bottle, and one memorable sword.
Can I just text you photos?
Yes, please do — photos make our preparation far more accurate. Tap Text Us: it opens a message that starts with the [nearplumb] tag and a short English template. Add photos of the drain, leak or faucet plus your neighborhood, and we reply in English.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes. We carry a card terminal — you can pay by card, bank transfer, or cash right on site. Receipts available on request. Quoted prices do not include 10% VAT; tax invoices and cash receipts are available.
